Tulsa Police arrested a man they say played a role in the murder of another man in November of 2018.
Officers arrested 21-year-old Kristopher Thompson on Monday after investigators said was connected to the deadly shooting of Alfred Seymour at a hotel near 71st Street and Mingo Road.
They say officers found Seymore sitting in a car with a bullet hole in the windshield, and that they didn't know how long he had been there.
Thompson would have been 14 at the time.
On November 12, 2018, Tulsa Police Officers responded to the Candlewood Suites and found Seymour inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head. He died three days later.
According to TPD, video from the hotel showed two men inside the vehicle with Seymore, get out, and then one of the people shot a gun into the vehicle and left the area.
TPD recovered evidence from Thompson's phone that linked him to the incident, but there was insufficient evidence for an arrest.
Tulsa Police arrested Thompson in Broken Arrow on June 16, 2025, for Felony Murder.
"Through a consistent effort of interviewing witnesses, examining evidence, and collaborating with our federal partners, we were able to build a case that implicated Thompson in the shooting," Tulsa Police said.
Thompson is now in the Tulsa County Jail.
Tulsa Police said that detectives are still working to identify the second suspect who was with Thompson in this case.
