The Oklahoma Insurance department is expanding its OKReady Strengthen Oklahoma Homes program to include eight more zip codes in the Tulsa area.
The department says eligible homeowners in the selected areas can apply online for grants of up to $10,000 to cover the cost of roofing improvements designed to meet FORTIFIED Home – Roof™ standards, with a hail-resistant supplement.

Why were these areas selected?
“These eight zip codes represent communities that have been significantly impacted by convective storms, and we are excited to add them to our second pilot,” said Ashley Scott, Deputy Commissioner of External Affairs and OKReady director.
OID says it looked at several factors, including contractor availability, claim frequency and hail loss.

Homeowners in the selected zip codes can apply online at oid.ok.gov/OKReady. The site includes eligibility guidelines, required documents, and income-based tiers.
