Selby Minner, founder of the Oklahoma Blues Hall of Fame, was found dead Tuesday in Rentiesville, authorities confirmed.

A probably cause affidavit said Louis Guenther, her brother, was found covered in blood sitting at Honey Springs Battlefield in Rentiesville.

It says when investigators approached him, he was holding a hammer and said he'd killed his sister at her home in Checotah.

The document said Guenther told investigators he hit her in the head with the hammer and stabbed her on June 9, then went to the battlefield where he stayed overnight. He's now in the McIntosh County jail.
