Former Bixby football coach sentenced to 20 years in prison for child sexual abuse

A former Bixby football coach is sentenced to more than 20 years in federal prison for sexually abusing young girls.

Investigators said Brandon Presley, 30, would contact and groom victims on social media.

“Presley is a child predator who used his position as a coach to groom and seek out minor children through social media. His actions were undetected until someone had the courage to report him,” said U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson. “I want to encourage parents and teens to learn about the dangers of social media.”

Authorities said it began as an investigation of a tip that Presley had sex with a 14-year-old on a college campus during a high school track meet.

Investigators said there were other victims too, including a 15-year-old girl, whom Presley sexually assaulted while he was an assistant football coach at Bixby in 2019. In 2022, Presley attempted to coerce a 13-year-old into sexually explicit activity. The DOJ reports that court records show Presley admitted to the contact with a minor child.

Presley is a citizen of the Muscogee Creek Nation. He will have to register as a sex offender when he gets out of prison.
