Overturned semi blocks eastbound lane of Turner Turnpike in Creek County

An overturned semi has blocked the eastbound outside lane of the Turner Turnpike near mile marker 201 in Creek County, causing traffic delays.

The outside eastbound lane of the Turner Turnpike is currently blocked near mile marker 201, approximately five miles east of Bristow, due to an overturned semi-truck, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The incident was reported around 8:25 a.m. Saturday morning. OHP troopers and emergency responders are on the scene managing traffic and working to clear the area.

Drivers traveling eastbound through Creek County are advised to expect delays and use caution in the area. No injuries have been reported at this time, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
