Oklahoma City Thunder stars Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams have been named to the 2024–25 All-NBA teams, the league announced on Friday. Gilgeous-Alexander earned his third straight All-NBA First Team selection, while Williams was named to the All-NBA Third Team — the first such honor of his career.
The duo played key roles in leading the Thunder to a franchise-best 68 wins and the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. OKC became the second-youngest top seed in NBA history, trailing only last year’s Thunder squad. Their 16-win gap over the No. 2 seed matched the largest margin ever between the top two seeds in a conference.
Fresh off being named the 2024–25 Kia NBA Most Valuable Player, Gilgeous-Alexander appeared in 76 games (all starts) and led the league in scoring with 32.7 points per game on 51.9% shooting (37.5% from three). He also averaged 6.4 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 1.72 steals (5th in NBA), and 1.0 blocks in 34.2 minutes per game. His four 50-point games led the league. The Hamilton, Ontario native also made his third All-Star appearance — his second straight as a starter — and won Western Conference Player of the Month three times.
Williams, in his breakout campaign, started all 69 games he played in and averaged 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and a career-high 1.61 steals (7th in NBA) in 32.4 minutes. He was one of just five players this season to average at least 20 points, five rebounds, five assists, and 1.5 steals. Williams also earned his first All-Star selection and was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team.
