Could major championship golf be returning to Southern Hills soon?

The PGA Championship is at Quail Hollow in Charlotte, NC this week, and it's fairly common for future sites to be announced during a championship week.

Just three years ago, Southern Hills hosted its 5th PGA, won by Justin Thomas in a playoff.

Currently, the PGA has announced future dates through 2031 and then 2034, meaning 2032 and 2033 are open.

There's been speculation ever since the 2022 event that the PGA could return to Tulsa in 2032, and at least one PGA official suggested back then that that could be the case.
