News On 6 has launched the News On 6 Digital Studio, a new digital-first platform aimed at producing long-form, conversational content outside of traditional newscasts. The initiative seeks to extend storytelling beyond television to platforms like NewsOn6.com and YouTube, allowing for deeper exploration of key topics, live interviews, and breaking news.
The move comes as part of News On 6's commitment to meeting viewers where they are, providing engaging content to those who prefer to watch online or on demand. The Digital Studio bridges the gap for audiences who want more than just the day's headlines, offering a space for stories to be explored in greater depth and with more context.
"More people are getting their news online, and the Digital Studio is our way of meeting them where they are,” said Carrie Winchel, director of digital content for Griffin Media. “This studio allows our journalists to tell stories with greater depth, deliver more live content as soon as events happen, and really engage with our community.”
