Oklahoma is back at No. 1 in this week’s NFCA/GoRout Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll. The Sooners (42-5) surged to the top after sweeping then-No. 2 Texas in a pivotal SEC showdown, marking the fourth time the No. 1 ranking has changed hands in the last eight weeks.
OU previously held the top spot for two weeks (March 11 and 18) and now sits 2.5 games ahead of Texas A&M entering the final weekend of the regular season. Texas (42-9), after a 1-3 week that included a narrow 1-0 win at No. 23 Oklahoma State, dropped to No. 4—its lowest position this season.
Texas A&M (41-8) climbed to No. 2 despite losing two out of three at home to now-No. 8 Arkansas. The Aggies also secured a non-conference win over Louisiana.
Oregon rose two spots to No. 3, its highest ranking since 2021, after sweeping Indiana on the road in Big Ten play. The Ducks (44-5) maintain a one-game edge over No. 6 UCLA in the conference standings.
No. 5 Tennessee (39-11) split its week with a nine-inning loss to Clemson and a road series win over then-No. 16 Ole Miss.
Rounding out the top 10 are No. 6 UCLA, No. 7 Florida State, No. 8 Arkansas, No. 9 Florida, and No. 10 LSU. Of those, only UCLA went unbeaten last week, while the rest dropped one game each in conference play.
No. 11 Texas Tech made history, securing its first-ever Big 12 title with two victories over Arizona State.
Clemson (41-12) jumped three spots to No. 16 after defeating then-No. 4 Tennessee and sweeping Georgia Tech on the road. Alabama also moved up, landing at No. 19 following a series sweep of Missouri.
Grand Canyon returned to the rankings at No. 24. The Lopes (40-6) extended their win streak to 17 games with a sweep of Utah Tech, locking up their second consecutive WAC regular-season title.
The 2025 NFCA/GoRout Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll is voted on by 31 NCAA Division I head coaches, each representing one conference.
