Former Oklahoma State University wide receiver Justin Blackmon was arrested Saturday in Stillwater, police say.

The Oklahoma State University Police Department says Blackmon was passed out on the steps of the Edmon Low Library on campus.

Officers say Blackmon was heavily intoxicated and could not answer their questions before he was arrested.

In March, Oklahoma State announced that Justin Blackmon would be enshrined into the Cowboy Football Ring of Honor during OSU's Nov. 15th game vs. Kansas State this fall. Blackmon was inducted into the 2024 College Football Hall of Fame class. He was formerly the No. 5 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. In November 2013, he was suspended indefinitely by the NFL for repeated violations of the league's substance-abuse policy.
