Clinton reflects on Oklahoma City's compassionate response after 1995 bombing

Former President Bill Clinton said Oklahoma City’s response to the 1995 bombing showed the nation how compassion and unity can triumph over hate.

Former President Bill Clinton reflected on the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, saying the city chose compassion over hatred in the wake of one of the deadliest acts of domestic terrorism in U.S. history.

Clinton said Oklahoma City reminded the nation what it means to put people before politics, rebuilding in a way that honored the lives lost and the spirit of community.

Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum for the 30th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony, honoring the community and the 168 lives taken in the bombing. The event will include a keynote address from President Clinton, as well as reflections from survivors, family members, and community leaders.
