Fans of emo and pop-punk music can mark their calendars — Emo Nite is coming back to Cain’s Ballroom on Friday, June 27.
The event, known for blending nostalgia with a high-energy party atmosphere, invites music lovers to scream, sing and celebrate a genre that has surged back into cultural relevance.
Emo Nite isn’t a band or a DJ set — it’s a nationwide party movement built around community and the music that helped define a generation. Founded in 2014 in Los Angeles by Morgan Freed and T.J. Petracca, Emo Nite has since become a multi-city phenomenon, spotlighting both classic tracks and new artists in the emo and pop-punk scenes.
The event has attracted celebrity fans and guest performers, including members of blink-182, Dashboard Confessional, and Good Charlotte. Past attendees have included Post Malone, Demi Lovato, and Machine Gun Kelly.
Cain’s Ballroom, a venue with deep music history, will host the Tulsa stop of Emo Nite’s 2025 tour. While no specific guests have been announced, fans can expect a lively mix of nostalgic tracks, potential surprise performances and the signature communal energy the event is known for.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 18, and can be purchased through the Cain’s Ballroom website.
Emo Nite has redefined how emo and pop-punk are celebrated. Once considered fringe or outdated, the genres have found new life through events like this, creating inclusive, cathartic spaces where fans can relive their favorite songs and discover new artists who share the same musical roots.
As Rolling Stone put it, Emo Nite “vindicated the scene.” Now, Tulsa fans get their chance to be part of that moment.
