ORU announces new basketball head coach

Oral Roberts University has a new head men's basketball coach: Kory Barnett.

Barnett spent last season as assistant at West Virginia, and also spent time on the coaching staffs at Nevada and UCLA.

He was a player at Indiana from 2009-2012, and helped lead the Hoosiers to the Sweet 16 his senior year.

Barnett has been a part of eight NCAA Tournament teams, two conference championships and seven 20-win seasons.

ORU will formally introduce him as head coach on Monday.
