Firefighters continue battling the Camargo and 840 Road Fire in Dewey County, which remains only 35% contained as of Monday.

Officials say the fire is becoming increasingly problematic, and crews anticipate working through the rest of the week.

A Jackson County task force is already on the scene, with additional crews from Custer County en route. Oklahoma Forestry Services is also assisting on the ground. No air support is planned for Tuesday.

Officials expressed gratitude to the community for providing food and donations to support firefighters.

This wildfire is part of a larger outbreak across Oklahoma, prompting emergency declarations in multiple counties. The state Emergency Operations Center remains activated, coordinating response efforts with local and state agencies.
