1 killed in NW OKC stabbing

A stabbing left one person dead Sunday evening in southwest Oklahoma City. Here is the latest on the investigation.

OKLAHOMA CITY -

One person is dead after a stabbing Sunday evening in northwest Oklahoma City, police say.

The Oklahoma City Police Department says officers were called at around 11 p.m. to an apartment near Northwest 23rd Street and North Villa Avenue, where the caller reported they had been stabbed before losing consciousness while on the phone with 911.

OCPD said officers gave the victim blood at the scene before they were taken to a hospital, where they later died.

Now, OCPD says investigators have not identified any possible weapons at the scene that could have been used in the stabbing.

There is no suspect information at this time.
