OKC crews repairing ruptured water main on Pennsylvania Avenue

Oklahoma City Utilities Line Maintenance crews are working to repair a ruptured 20-inch water main near North Pennsylvania Avenue and Northwest 16th Street, prompting temporary road closures in the area.

All northbound and southbound lanes of Pennsylvania Avenue are closed between NW 15th and NW 16th streets while crews complete repairs. Lane closures will remain in place until work is finished.

Officials anticipate that two to three customers may experience a temporary disruption in water service during the repairs.

Crews expect to complete repairs by 10 p.m. The cause of the water main break has not yet been determined
