Oklahoma Senate Democrats held a press conference Monday following the 2025 State of The State address from Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt.
Sen. Julia Kirk (D-Oklahoma City), leader of the Senate Democrats, and several other members of the Senate responded to Gov. Stitt's address by saying that the Democrat's agenda is needed.

Kirk said that what they heard was not what Oklahomans needed to see, which she stated was "a great education for every kid, an economy that really drives high paying jobs for the people of Oklahoma, families that are equipped to take care of their health, and transparency and accountability."
Kirk added that "nothing new" was said beyond the commonly heard "D.C. think tanks for policy ideas" from Republicans.
