The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is postponing a resurfacing project on Highway 60 in Bartlesville, citing rising costs due to inflation.
Originally scheduled for 2025, the project would have resurfaced the highway from Highway 75 West to the city limits. ODOT now plans to begin the work in 2027.
The department said other higher-priority projects have taken precedence, but crews will continue making necessary repairs to maintain the road until resurfacing begins.
No specific date has been announced for the start of the delayed project.
