The Tulsa State Fair is returning to the fairgrounds on Sept. 26. The fair, first organized in 1903, is now one of the largest events in the city, bringing over one million in attendance in 2022. It features a variety of attractions, including carnival rides, livestock shows, food vendors, live entertainment, art exhibits, and competitions. It also hosts special events like concerts, rodeos, and educational activities for all ages.
One of the main attractions of the fair is its agricultural exhibits, which allow visitors to explore Oklahoma's farming heritage. Guests can observe livestock competitions and discover modern farming techniques through educational demonstrations. These exhibits feature the state's top livestock, including cattle and goats. Click here for a schedule of the livestock shows.
A major staple of the Tulsa State Fair, there is food to delight the most adventurous eaters.
The Tulsa State Fair website has an interactive list of all the food vendors to make it easier for fairgoers to find something to their taste, with categories like “On A Stick,” “You Fried What?” and others. Click here for the food finder.
The fair is also holding the Annual Awesome Eats Food Competition, where food vendors enter their best dishes for judging among three categories: savory, sweet and sips. Some of those entries include a pickle dog, watermelon pie, mangito and more. Click here for a full list.

Each day of the fair features several live music performances that are free with paid gate admission. VIP tickets are also available, which are for the reserved section directly in front of the stage. Those tickets are $40 online or $45 in-person. Click here for a list of performers.
There are also other performances, like the Inspyral Circus, Disney On Ice, a Fiddle Contest, dancing, and much more. Click here for a full list of events.
