Murder Suspect Booked In Tulsa County Jail Following Arrest In New York

A man arrested in New York while attempting to leave the country following a Tulsa homicide is now in custody at the Tulsa County Jail.

Blake McDonell, identified as the suspect in a fatal stabbing of his boyfriend earlier this month near East 4th Place and South Harvard Avenue, was booked into jail overnight.

According to Tulsa Police, McDonell was detained by authorities in New York as he tried to board a flight to Paris.

He is now being held on $5 million bond.
