Drivers on Highway 169 in Owasso will see some overnight lane closures soon as crews paint the 96th Street bridge.
Starting next week, a contractor with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation will begin painting the steel structure of the 96th Street bridge to protect it from corrosion.
ODOT says the only impact to drivers will be some overnight lane closures as crews hang tarps and prepare equipment.
ODOT says they are also working on similar projects across the metro, but this paint job should wrap up in mid-April.
