Catoosa Basketball Fans Throw Stuffed Animals On The Court For A Good Cause

There was a stoppage for a good cause Friday in Catoosa High School's boy's basketball game.

After the first basket fans were encouraged to throw a new stuffed animal onto the court. Those stuffed animals were then gathered up and will be given to Toys for Tots.

"Catoosa American Legion is here also with us. And they're going to collect everything. We also want to give them a special thanks for coming tonight," said Catoosa Girls Basketball Coach Amanda Henderson.

This is the first year for the event.

It was a partnership between Catoosa and their opponents Verdigris.
