Venables Shares Respect For TU Coach, Former Colleague Kevin Wilson

The Bedlam game may not have much life left but another in-state showdown is out in full force this week.

OU vs. OSU has little time left to shine when it comes to the long-run rivalry.

But now, another Oklahoma school may just have beef that runs deeper.

And it lies between the head coaches.

Brent Venables and Kevin Wilson were both on Bob Stoops staff at Oklahoma from 2002-2010.

But, Coach Venables shared with the media today just how much respect he has for the new TU Head Coach.

With OU vs. TU coming up on September 16, Venables said freshman 5 star backup QB Jackson Arnold will not redshirt this season.

But, Tulsa native and defensive back Gentry Williams will be available to play.

Kickoff is at H.A. Chapman stadium at 2:30 Saturday.
