Oklahoma State's trip to Lawrence didn't go quite as expected but the Pokes managed to pull out a sloppy 20-14 victory on a stormy day in Kansas. Here are some of the numbers that help tell the story:
62 – With the victory, Mike Gundy tied Pat Jones atop the school's all-time list with 62 wins at OSU. Gundy reached 62 victories in 94 games (62-32), while it took Jones 118.
1:19 – The game went through a 1 hour and 19 minute storm delay because of lightning. It didn't even come close to last season's 3 hour and 6 minute delay against Tulsa, but neither team looked particularly crisp on Saturday. Some of that is likely because of the substantial stoppage of play.
29 – The number of rush attempts for Joseph Randle, which set a new career high. The previous mark was 25. However, Randle managed just 80 yards and no touchdowns on just 2.8 yards per carry.
72 – The yardage covered on Charlie Moore's third-quarter touchdown reception, which proved to be the game winning score. Moore led the Cowboys with five catches for 97 yards and a touchdown.
2 – The number of Big 12 victories for Kansas since 2008. The Jayhawks Big 12 losing streak was extended to 15 games on Saturday, making OSU's late-game struggles all the more alarming.
35 – The number of points OSU scored in the first quarter against the Jayhawks last season en route to a 70-28 thumping.
1 – OSU's national rank in total offense (659) and scoring (55.8) entering Lawrence. The Pokes managed just 20 points and 371 yards against the Jayhawks.
53 – Quinn Sharp's average per punt on Saturday. Sharp was lethal for the Cowboys, routinely putting KU in bad starting field position. He had a long of 70, which shockingly isn't a career- best. He booted a 78-yarder against Nebraska in 2010.
0 – Kansas failed to score in the first half for the first time this season and OSU kept the Jayhawks off the scoreboard until the 10:52 mark in the fourth quarter.
255 – The number of passing yards for OSU quarterback J.W. Walsh in his second career start. Walsh finished 18-of-29 passing with one touchdown and an interception. He also had 49 rushing yards and a score.
