A woman was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle accident on a rural road in Blaine County, Saturday morning.
The accident occurred on county road 0590 at the intersection of county road 2600, northwest of the town of Okeene just before 10 a.m.
According to the police report, 28-year-old James Blom was driving a 1991 Chevy pickup eastbound on 0590 with 28-year-old Amber Poulton.
Blom failed to yield at the intersection and was struck on the passenger side by 50-year-old Darrell Hinsley, who was driving a tractor trailer.
Poulton was pronounced dead at the scene. Blom was transported to St. Mary's in Enid where he is listed in stable condition. Hinsley was transported to Okeene Hospital where he is also listed in stable condition.
Neither Blom nor Poulton were wearing seatbelts. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
