Two small earthquake shook up residents near Cushing and Okeene, Oklahoma Saturday morning.
A 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 5:15 a.m. Its epicenter was located just three miles west of Cushing, 14 miles southeast of Stillwater, and 39 miles west of Sapulpa.
Then around 8:12 a.m., a 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck. Its epicenter was located 14 miles north northeast of Okeene, 17 miles west southwest of Enid, and 50 miles northwest of Guthrie.
There have been no reports of injuries or damages.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
