Representative Suzanne Schreiber said Oklahoma has too few childcare centers that are too expensive for many families, leading to fewer people returning to the workforce after having kids. House Bill 4147 would give a tax credit to childcare workers and incentivize employers to help employees pay for childcare, operate a daycare, or buy spots at a daycare for employees.
