Griffin Media's Statewide Director of Digital Content, Carrie Winchel, is an experienced journalist with nearly 2 decades of experience in the television news industry, in both broadcast and digital journalism. 

Carrie is passionate about meeting the people of Oklahoma where they are with in-depth and informative news coverage that matters to them.

Carrie began her career in Springfield, Missouri and also worked in Nashville, Tennessee before joining the News 9 Team in 2023. When she is not working alongside the News 9 and News On 6 digital content teams, Carrie enjoys going to concerts, thrift store shopping, and spending time with her husband and 3 dogs.
