The Pride of Oklahoma did not travel with the football team to Philadelphia for the Temple game this weekend.

Griffin Media's Toby Rowland, the Voice of the Sooners, confirmed that the Pride of Oklahoma did not make the trip.

To fill in for the band, OU got Temple-rival St. Joseph's to play "Boomer Sooner" on Saturday.

STATEMENT FROM THE PRIDE OF OKLAHOMA:

Happy Game Day Eve, Sooner Fans!
The Pride of Oklahoma will be traveling to all conference away games this year. The full band will travel to Texas and pep bands with travel to South Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama.
Due to budget constraints, we are not traveling to Temple this weekend. We are grateful to the St.
Joseph's University Pep Band for filling in for us at all of the OU events and during the ballgame.
We look forward to seeing the Sooner faithful at our conference home opener next weekend vs Auburn.
Enjoy tomorrow's ballgame!
