Yukon and Mustang Prepare For Rivalry Game With Schoolwide Pep Rallies

Before Yukon Millers and Mustang Broncos take to the field Friday night, students at both schools hosted a pep rally to show school spirit.

Friday Night Lights are back! And the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch headed over to Yukon and Mustang High Schools for their schoolwide pep rallies before the teams go head-to-head September 5.

Yukon and Mustang's annual matchup is referred to as the "Canadian County Rivalry".

Both schools held their pep rallies with both teams hyping up the students with the backdrop of cheerleaders and tradition. exchanging a few words for each other before they faceoff Friday night.

In 2024, Mustang Broncos won their game 52-14. Head Coach Lee Blankenship is 7-0 against the Yukon Millers.

Yukon opened the 2025 season with a 48-35 win over Putnam City High School last week.

The Canadian County Rivalry game is in Mustang this year at 7pm.
