OKC Broadway gears up for 10th anniversary with record number of shows

Oklahoma City audiences have the chance to see seven shows this season at the Oklahoma City Civic Center Music Hall.

The shows span across age groups and genres of music to capture all kinds of theatre lovers for OKC Broadway’s tenth season.

Subscribers to the 2025-26 season will be first in line for tickets to the 2024 Tony Award-winning Best Musical “The Outsiders” and the return of “Hamilton” when renewing for the next 2026-27 season. 

Kimberly Akimbo

The 10th Anniversary Season will begin with the five-time Tony Award-winning Best Musical “Kimberly Akimbo” from September 9-14 of 2025. 

Kimberly is about to turn 16 and recently moved with her family to a new town in suburban New Jersey. Kim is forced to navigate family dysfunction, a rare genetic condition, her first crush, and possible felony charges. Ever the optimist, she is determined to find happiness against all odds and embark on a great adventure.  

This show is recommended for ages 13 and up.

The Book Of Mormon

As an Added Season Special, the Broadway Blockbuster “The Book of Mormon” returns from October 10th-12th 2025.

This outrageous musical comedy follows the adventures of a mismatched pair of missionaries, sent

halfway across the world to spread the Good Word. 

It’s recommended for audiences aged 15 and up.

ELF The Musical

End the year on a high note with the hilarious holiday favorite “ELF the Musical” from November 18-23 2025.

ELF The Musical is the hilarious and heartwarming tale of Buddy, a young orphan whose life is changed forever when he mistakenly crawls into Santa’s sack of toys one Christmas Eve. Raised by elves at the North Pole, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, and in turn, helps the Big Apple and the people he meets rediscover the true meaning of Christmas.

Beauty and the Beast

Be Our Guest at “Beauty and the Beast”, Disney’s first North American production of the beloved musical in over 25 years.

This enchanting and timeless tale, filled with the romance and grandeur audiences know and love, has been brought to life like never before, with spectacular new sets and dazzling costumes. 

Tickets will be on sale for shows starting January 20th through the 25th of 2026. 

A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical

A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical is an inspiring, exhilarating, energy-filled musical memoir that tells the untold true story of how America's greatest hitmaker became a star, set to the songs that defined his career.

The Neil Diamond-inspired show hits the Civic Center stage from March 3rd to March 8th of 2026.

Hell’s Kitchen

With new music and greatest hits from the one and only Alicia Keys, “Hell’s Kitchen” is a hot musical must-see from April 7th through the 12th of 2026.

Set to the rhythm of the 90s, Hell’s Kitchen is a love story between a mother and daughter. It's about finding yourself, your purpose, and the community that lifts you.

Shucked

Get ready to laugh with “Shucked,” the hilarious Tony Award-winning Broadway musical from May 12-17, 2026.

It’s a Tony® Award–winning musical comedy about an unlikely hero, a lovable con man, and an a-maize-ing battle for the heart and soul of Cob County.

The show is recommended for 10 and up.

The Wiz

“The Wiz” is back with a stunning new production direct from Broadway to Oklahoma City from May 19th through the 24th of 2026.

This groundbreaking twist on The Wizard of Oz changed the face of Broadway from its iconic score packed with soul, gospel, rock, and 70s funk to its stirring tale of Dorothy’s journey to find her place in a contemporary world.  

The dynamite infusion of ballet, jazz, and modern pop brings a whole new groove to easing on down the road.
