Moore's first free dental clinic is now open, broadening access to oral health care by serving any Oklahoman in need, regardless of insurance status.
The Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation says the Moore Faith Medical Clinic now has four dental chairs, a digital X-ray system, an ultrasonic medical sterilization system and additional state-of-the-art equipment in the new facility.
"As someone born and raised in Moore, I'm very excited to see this come to our city," said Delta Dental Oklahoma Foundation's Terissa Singleton.
Thanks to a $130,000 grant from the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation and other generous contributions, including the Butterfield Memorial Foundation, Moore Love and the City of Moore, the Moore Faith Medical Clinic can now serve even more community members.
Moore Faith Dental Clinic offers free primary care visits, free prescription supplies, case management assistance, spiritual care, basic diagnostic testing, and referrals to specialists.
"The dental clinic itself is just the beginning," said Singleton. "We need volunteer dentists and hygienists to come in to make this possible."
The expansion comes at a milestone moment as Moore Faith Medical Clinic celebrates ten years of dedicated service to the Moore community, now offering even more comprehensive healthcare under one roof.
Moore Faith Dental Clinic is open on Thursday evenings. No insurance or ID is required.
Interested patients can call 405-759-0853 to schedule an appointment.
