A new bookstore in Oklahoma City has already received a warm welcome from the community, and is now gearing up to host events for the whole public.
Lost & Bound started as a pop-up shop inside an old antiques booth in Tazewell, Tennessee, in the summer of 2024.
This small space made a big impact as that community's only new and used bookstore, with the next closest being 43 miles away in Corbin, Kentucky.
The new Lost & Bound Books in Oklahoma City is a full brick-and-mortar bookstore featuring new books, apparel, home goods, and so much more.
"We've done a lot of community events, and it's just been amazing," Co-Owner Lex Boxey said. "At our grand opening, over 500 people showed up. All the people, it's been wonderful."
The store is designed to be a community hub for events and gatherings where people can connect over a good book.
Lost & Bound has monthly book clubs based on genre and fun events such as candlemaking.
