Oklahoma City Thunder Reveal 2025-26 City Edition Uniform Celebrating Native and Indigenous Heritage

The Oklahoma City Thunder officially revealed its 2025-26 Nike NBA City Edition Uniform on Wednesday, a design that pays tribute to the Native and Indigenous cultures that define Oklahoma’s identity and community spirit.

The new look will make its on-court debut on Nov. 19 when the Thunder hosts the Sacramento Kings at Paycom Center during the team’s annual Native American Heritage Night. The game will also feature a specially designed City Edition alternate court.

What Does the New Uniform Highlight?

This year’s City Edition uniform builds on the Thunder’s 2018-19 design, weaving together cultural heritage with modern elements that reflect unity, resilience, and pride:

1. OKC Crest: Interlocking geometric shapes form “OKC” at the center of the jersey, symbolizing unity and strength.
2. Water-Inspired Pattern: Teeth-like designs reflect the Oklahoma River, uniting the jersey’s two halves.
3. Waistband & Shorts: Expanding squares represent growing communities, while a hidden turtle emblem symbolizes endurance, unity, and sacred directions.
4. Sunset Accents: Tribal-inspired sashes run across the shoulders and shorts, honoring resilience and shared identity.
5. Stars of Tradition: Eleven geometric stars line the jersey and shorts, carrying forward stories passed down through generations.

Where and When Can Fans See in Person?

Fans can see the uniform in person at the First Americans Museum from Aug. 21–Sept. 5, with a chance to win exclusive City Edition gear. Beginning Sept. 6, the display will transition into a digital exhibit, running through Native American Heritage Month in November.

When are City Nights?

The Thunder will extend the City Edition theme with City Nights, held at every Friday home game starting Dec. 5. During these games, the team will wear the uniform while playing on its specially designed City Edition court.

When Can You Purchase?

The 2025-26 City Edition collection will be available for purchase starting Nov. 11.
