Tulsa Stained Glass is marking its 50th anniversary and expanding its creative offerings with new coloring books designed to inspire self-expression and creativity.
Founded in 1975, Tulsa Stained Glass specializes in creating custom stained glass windows for both residential and religious clients. In addition to repairs, the studio offers beginner classes for hobbyists and enthusiasts.
Popular three-hour classes, originally developed for continuing education programs, now serve as entertainment experiences for date nights, ladies nights out, and Saturday matinees.
These sessions focus on student projects called EMOSYs, a concept combining emotion and symbolism.
The studio’s latest project is a line of coloring books featuring black-and-white EMOSY designs paired with sayings inspired by various groups.
The books can be used as greeting cards or birthday cards, allowing customers to add their own colors and personalize the designs.
The coloring books are available for purchase at the studio and online through Amazon.
The EMOSY program aims to help students embrace their creativity and take pride in their stained glass projects, even if they do not consider themselves artists.
The slogan, “Let Your EMOSY Shine,” reflects the program’s mission of enhancing self-esteem and self-expression. The program is built around the book Draw How You Feel, which includes prompts, art techniques, and guidance for creative expression.
Tulsa Stained Glass is located at 4129 South Sheridan Road.
For more information or to purchase the coloring books, visit Tulsa Stained Glass website or the studio’s Amazon page.
