Owasso announces new construction projects for Highway 169 and Highway 75

Highway 169 and Highway 75 projects are approved by ODOT, Owasso says.

TULSA, Okla. -

Two new highway construction projects in Owasso have been approved by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation

The City of Owasso said ODOT approved a $10.4 million widening project for Highway 169 between 66th and 86th Street. The project, set to begin in fall 2025, will widen the highway to three lanes in each direction.

Also, a $4.2 bridge rehab project on Highway 75 over Bird Creek has been approved.

"These projects will help improve traffic flow, enhance safety, and support future growth for the Owasso area," the City of Owasso shared.
