Osage County Man Sentenced to 20 Years for DUI Crash That Killed 15-Year-Old Barnsdall Boy
Weston Lowe, 36, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for a DUI crash that claimed the life of 15-year-old Tyson Townley and severely injured his own daughter, following a plea deal accepted in April 2025.

An Osage County man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for a DUI crash that killed 15-year-old Tyson Townley and critically injured the driver’s own daughter.
Weston Lowe, 36, accepted a plea deal in April for the May 2024 crash just outside Barnsdall. On Thursday, a judge formally sentenced Lowe to 20 years in prison. Under the terms of the agreement, he will be eligible for judicial review after five years and could be released at that time.

Prosecutors said Lowe was driving under the influence when he crashed, killing Townley, who was a passenger in the vehicle. Lowe’s then-16-year-old daughter was also in the car and suffered life-threatening injuries.
