Collinsville and Bixby Public Schools will dismiss classes early on Monday due to the threat of severe weather, which is expected to move through the area.

Collinsville Info

  1. Elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m.
  2. Secondary schools will follow at 12:30 p.m.

Bus routes begin immediately after each release.

The early dismissal decision comes after the National Weather Service in Tulsa indicated a strong possibility of severe storms coinciding with the district’s regular dismissal time.

“We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for that,” Superintendent Dr. Jeremy Hogan wrote. “Please be assured that this decision has been made with the utmost consideration for the safety of our students and staff.”

Parents with questions are encouraged to contact their child’s school directly.

Bixby Info

Bixby Public Schools will dismiss early as well, with elementary students released ahead of the secondary schools.

  1. Elem/Int: 1:55 PM
  2. Secondary: 2:55 PM

School officials said that buses will be running on the regular Friday schedule and asked parents to notify their school site office if this impacts their child’s regular dismissal procedure.
