19-year-old arrested, accused of vandalizing Sand Springs home

A 19-year-old man accused of participating in two incidents of vandalism at a couple’s home in January 2025 is now facing criminal charges.

According to investigators, Michael Luttrell Jr. and two other teenagers first targeted the home by knocking on a window, lighting a firework, and throwing it onto the front porch.

In a separate incident that same month, police say the group drove past the residence and fired airsoft guns at the home, causing damage to the exterior.

An affidavit states that Luttrell served as the getaway driver in both incidents.

Luttrell is charged with placing explosives near a building, destruction of property, and obstructing an officer.
