This year, Oklahoma City marks 30 years since the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995. There are several ways to support the Memorial and Museum and honor the victims, survivors, and first responders.

The Oklahoma City National Memorial was dedicated 5 years after the bombing, in 2000. The Museum was dedicated in February 2001.

The Memorial and Museum are maintained and operated by a private, non-profit organization and do not receive any annual funds from federal, state, or local government entities.

You can support the Memorial by:

  1. Visiting the Museum
  2. Participating in the OKC Memorial Marathon
  3. Donating

OKC Memorial events on April 19, 2025

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum will lead a series of high-profile community events during April to honor those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever by the tragedy.

The public is invited to gather for the 30th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony from 8:30-10:30 a.m., April 19. Due to weather, the ceremony was moved indoors

Former President Bill Clinton is the keynote speaker for the ceremony, which will include 168 moments of silence, a reading of the names of those killed, and remarks from survivors, family members, and community leaders.

Thanks to Cox Communications' support, admission to the Memorial Museum will be free following the ceremony. The Museum will close at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
