Veteran game show host Wink Martindale, known for 'Gambit' and 'Tic-Tac-Dough,' dies at 91.

Wink Martindale, the host of hit game shows like, “Gambit” and “Tic-Tac-Dough," and also did one of the first recorded interviews with a young Elvis Presley, has died at the age of 91.

Martindale died Tuesday at Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage, California, after he had been battling lymphoma for a year, according to his publicist Brian Mayes.

He is survived by Sandy, his second wife of 49 years, children Lisa, Madelyn, Laura and numerous grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Wink Jr. Martindale’s children are from his first marriage which ended in divorce in 1972.
