Thunder Up: Fans get excited for upcoming playoff games

Thunder fans were out and about Sunday afternoon sharing with News 9 how they are feeling now that the Oklahoma City Thunder are going to the playoffs.

“Growing up in Oklahoma I’ve always been a Thunder fan, kind of watched it from the beginning and it’s just exciting to get to see them doing so well,” said Thunder fan Jamie Overton. 

“I feel like we did very good this year and I just hope we make it to the championship and win,” added Rashad Calhoun.

Micah Arzate is already claiming victory and said, “We’re going to get it done this year, that's it, that's all I have to say.” 

“When we win the finals, I want to have a big OKC downtown party that’s all I gotta say,” added Jacob Schommer.

As far as support, Thunder fan Chivon Parks has them covered. “We might win, we might lose, it doesn't matter as long as we’re there for like fun and all,” said Parks. 

A limited number of Thunder playoff tickets will go on sale Monday, April 14 at 10:00 a.m.

Fans are encouraged to get in the queue early, as tickets are expected to go fast.

For those unable to purchase playoff tickets, Oklahoma City Thunder Director of Corporate Comunications Gayle Maxwell said Fassler Hall will serve as the official watch party location for road games.
