Frito-Lay has issued a voluntary recall for select 13-ounce bags of Tostitos tortilla chips after discovering they may contain an undeclared milk allergen.

Frito-Lay has issued a voluntary recall for select 13-ounce bags of Tostitos tortilla chips after discovering they may contain an undeclared milk allergen.

According to the company, some of the affected bags labeled as plain tortilla chips could actually contain nacho cheese-flavored chips. The mix-up poses a potential health risk to individuals with a milk allergy or sensitivity.

  1. The affected products were distributed to retail stores and e-commerce distributors in the following 13 states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. 

The recall applies only to specific bags distributed in certain regions. Customers can contact Frito-Lay’s Consumer Relations line or visit the company’s website for more information on affected product codes and refund instructions.
