Edmond man accused of helping sons flee country following OKC woman's death to stand trial

An Edmond man will stand trial for allegedly assisting his two sons, both charged with first-degree murder, in fleeing to Pakistan after a woman's death in Oklahoma City.

An Edmond man will stand trial for allegedly helping his sons flee the country following a woman’s murder in Oklahoma City.

Nadir and Nabir Khan were charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Jacqueline Luna outside an Oklahoma City bar in January 2024.

Two days later, records show the two brothers boarded a plane in Dallas and flew to Pakistan.

A judge ruled there is enough evidence that the boys' father, Mohammed Sherzaman, helped them flee.

Sherzaman will be arraigned on April 16th.
