Hundreds of advocates for the fight against hunger are expected to be at the Oklahoma State Capitol on Thursday.
Oklahoma is one of the top ten states in the nation when it comes to food insecurity, and organizers will work to connect with state lawmakers during Anti-Hunger Day at the capitol.
Representatives from the Regional Food Bank will speak alongside lawmakers about advocating for policies that would help to fight hunger.
The event will start at 10 a.m. at the Oklahoma History Center before moving to the capitol's second floor rotunda at 1 p.m.
