As of 5:00 a.m., the mandatory evacuation area in Stillwater has been reduced, according to an update from Stillwater Emergency Management (SEMA). Officials urge residents to check updated maps to determine whether it is safe to return home.

Authorities warn that fires may rekindle, and residents should remain vigilant. Anyone experiencing an emergency should call 911 immediately.

For those still displaced or who have suffered losses, the Payne County Fair Grounds Expo Center remains open as an overnight shelter.
