During the Oklahoma City Thunder's game against Denver on Monday, one of Oklahoma's own was seen courtside watching the game.

James Marsden, a Hollywood actor born in Stillwater, gained prestige for his portrayal of the superhero Cyclops in the X-Men series of films.

Marsden, who attended Hefner Middle School and Putnam City North High School in Oklahoma City, also went on to attend Oklahoma State University before pursuing an acting career in California.

Despite the Thunder's 140-127 loss to the Denver Nuggets, Marsden was seen sitting on the sideline with his mother, Kathleen.
