Oklahoma City Police investigate cold case from 2020

Oklahoma City Police are seeking information about the death of 22-year-old Takota Wise, who was found shot to death in 2020.

Police are looking for more information to find whoever is responsible for the death of a man found shot to death in 2020 in southwest Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma City Police Department says 22-year-old Takota Wise was found shot to death in a ditch near Southwest 104th Street and South Morgan Road in January 2020.

In the time since Wise's death, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) and Bureau of Indian Affairs have also handled the investigation.

"Since that time they've followed up on any lead that's come in," OCPD Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said. "To this point, those leads have not led to an arrest being made or even a suspect being named."

Investigators say if you know anything, even the smallest detail could help.
