OKC for Soccer, an initiative working to bring Oklahoma City's newest soccer organization to life, is sharing details regarding the prospective team's name.
The organization says its "Name the Team!" campaign has received at least 10,000 name suggestions, with OKC for Soccer President Court Jeske saying they are eyeing a few entrees.

However, Jeske also said some names did not make the cut.
"Our personal favorite was the OKC Onion Burgers; we will not be choosing that," Jeske said. "We will not be choosing Better Than Dallas FC as another one, but we will find a name that represents Oklahoma City and represents us in the world game."
Although a name has not yet been elected from the thousands of entrees, Jeske says the organization's leaders, including former Thunder star Russell Westbrook, will select a name soon.
