The Ronald McDonald House is looking for volunteers to help make dinner for families in need. The Guest Chef Program ensures that families staying at the Ronald McDonald House have a home-cooked meal each night.

Volunteers in the program cook dinner each night for the residents, so families have one less thing to worry about while taking care of their children in the hospital.

Jen Dolan and Darren Beers are part of the guest chef program. They've been making dinner at the Ronald McDonald House every Sunday since 2016. The goal is to have enough volunteers to cook a meal at the Ronald McDonald House every night of the week.

Dolan and Beers say they'd love to see more people in the kitchen volunteering, and they are even willing to help others get started.

"We'd be happy if anyone was interested in doing it to walk somebody through or give menus and give some different ideas of some of the things that we do," Jen Dolan said.

The program is open to anyone with a food handlers permit. You can learn more about the program, sign up to volunteer, and take an online food handlers course at https://rmhctulsa.org/get-involved/guest-chef/.
